Hi, The Tree Forum meets on a quarterly basis and was established in order to bring together relevant officers, local authority partners and community group members, with an interest in the conservation, protection and promotion of trees in Redcar & Cleveland , including trees in our woodlands, streets, parks and open spaces. To help to protect and promote our urban trees in streets, parks, gardens and open spaces. To provide support and input towards the conservation, access and diversity of the Boroughs woodlands. To encourage and support RCBC and partners to ensure the replacement of trees that have been (and continue to be) removed. Pursue sufficient funding for the planting of new urban trees. Provide an ongoing mechanism for open consultation on urban tree issues between local community groups, interested professional bodies and relevant RCBC services.
